Renowned Human Rights Activist, Philanthropist and National Coordinator of Citizens Rights Concerns Enhancement Initiative (CRCEI) Aka Human Rights Protection Congress (HRPC), Dcn. Monday Enudi on Saturday April 19, marked his birthday with donation of foodstuffs – bags of rice, cartons of noodles and packs of water, cash, and books to God’s Divine Orphanage, Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking to journalists, while making the donation, Dcn. Enudi who doubles as the Executive Director of Lifesure Protection Security Limited said that the marking of his birthday at the orphanage is a reflection of his core belief that service to humanity is the highest form of celebration.
He added, “It’s a privilege for me to put smiles on the faces of the needy on this special day in appreciation of God’s mercy and protection of my life,” saying, “I’m very grateful to God for my life.”
Continuing, Dcn Enudi expressed the compelling need for society to show love to less privileged children, saying, “These beautiful children (orphans) deserve love and care. I am honoured by this show of love – little kindness from me to cater to their needs. It is a memorable moment for me to visit them this special day.”
Dcn. Enudi, who was joined by his family and friends to make the donation, was warmly embraced by the orphans with infectious smiles and rendering of melodious songs which climaxed with prayers asking God to bless the celebrant with good things of life and also protect his life.
Speaking to the the children – orphans in an emotion-laden voice, Dcn. Enudi appreciated the warm reception given to him and encouraged them to put their hope in God, assuring them of a better future, adding that when schools resume from holidays, donation of books would continue and extended to more schools.
The Director of the Orphanage, Ms. Lucky Emakoji appreciated Dcn. Enudi for his philanthropic gesture, saying, “We are deeply thankful for your generous donations to the home. Your love has brought warmth and hope to the lives of the children in the home, reminding them that they are loved and cared for. Your support will make a lasting impact, helping to provide for their needs and brighten their future.”
She continued, “May God bless you abundantly for your compassion and generosity. May God’s grace continue to guide and protect you as you share your blessings with others. We are truly grateful for your selfless contribution.”
