In concerted efforts to sanitize the primary school educational system, the Isoko South Local Government Council chairman, Hon. Warri Friday Ovoke, has set up a committee and kick-started the screening exercise of the entire staff strength of all primary schools domiciled in his mandate area.

The exercise which commenced Tuesday with a visit to 10 primary schools, was reported to purposely determine the current staff strength, those due for retirement and to discover ghost and dead staff that are making the wage bill of the council to increase.
In composing the screening committee, the Council Boss included members from lsoko South Local Government Council, State delegates and the Local Education Authority. Others incorporated include the Nigeria Union of Teachers and Non teaching staff.
Addressing the committee members, the Council Chairman, Comr. Warri, represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Osuofa Aziakpono charged the committee members to be diligent in the discharge of their assignments without fear or favour in order to achieve the desired result

The SLG Hon.Aziakpono, who also led the screening committee to 10 primary schools, admonished teachers and Non teaching staff to impact good morals on the pupils, in order to be good ambassadors of their various schools in the nearest future.
The 10 primary schools visited include Arasa Primary School Iwride/Oviri, Ikiagbodo Primary School, Akokotu Primary School, Owholomu and Olomoro Primary School, all in Olomoro town.
Others are Okpolo primary School Enwhe, Oviota Primary School, Enwhe, Omode, Itimi and Irri Primary Schools, all in Irri Town.
It will be recalled that the screening committee yesterday also successfully screened Uzi, Owhara and Odoro primary Schools in Oleh.
