Comr. Amioku Eulogizes Mother On 70th Birthday Thanksgiving Service

Business mogul and communication scholar, Comrade Benjamin Amioku, on Sunday 6, April, 2025 poured torrents of eulogies on his mother, Mrs. Beauty Amioku as she celebrated 70th birthday with pomp.

Speaking at the birthday thanksgiving service at Holy Jesus Mission Church, Warri, Comrade Benjamin Amioku described his mother as a role model and a formidable pillar of support for him and his siblings, saying, “The motherly care and unflinching support my mother gave us the children enabled us acquire university education and other vocations without hassles, and by the grace of God, we are making commendable progress in our chosen careers and in the business space.

Continuing, Comrade Benjamin thanked God for protecting his mother and guiding her to navigate the contours of life for 70 eventful years with good health.

He said, “The Amioku family is grateful to God for His mercy, and uses this epoch occasion to specially worship, praise and appreciate Him for His love, mercy and protection for our lovely mother.

“We are very excited today and fervently pray that God adds more fruitful years to my mother’s life.”

Speaking in an emotion laden voice, Mrs. Beauty Amioku poured praises on God for His love for her life.

Overwhelmed by joy, Mrs. Beauty Amioku, joined by her family, danced profusely and sang gloriously, pouring thunderous praises on God with obedience.

While narrating God’s protective hand and blessings upon her, she said, “I want to thank our heavenly father for his goodness and faithfulness. I sincerely appreciate our father for the salvation of my soul.”

Recalling her experience in life, she said, “My life is a testament of God’s divine love for humanity. I have had the privilege of travelling abroad and since 1986, I had been travelling to northern Nigeria, for business activities.

“On several occasions, during the travels, I encountered danger, including armed robbers and our good lord protected my life from any form of attack and accident.”

Mrs. Beauty professed her love for God with unrivalled zeal to serve Him faithfully, saying, “Jesus loves me so much. For that reason, I want to reciprocate His love for me by serving him faithfully and happily.”

She added, “Jesus cares for me, He protects me and made me witness my 70th birthday celebration, and see my children and grandchildren. I give Him all the glory and honour.”
Mrs. Beauty admonished Christians to be dedicated to serving God, saying, “Let us have the consciousness of the kingdom of God, let us not serve God for the purpose of going to church. Let us serve God and ensure we have personal experience and relationship with Him, then, we will see the presence of God in our lives.”

Delivering a sermon, the General Overseer of Holy Jesus Mission Church, Warri, Arch Bishop Ogbuji Igwe Ogbuji spoke on the Bible teachings that emphasizes the end time. He admonished Christians not to trivialize what the bible says about rapture, even as he charged them to right their ways with God and prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ.

The highpoint of the thanksgiving session was cutting of the birthday cake by Mrs. Beauty Amioku, supported by her husband, Deacon Diamond Amioku, her children, grandchildren, daughter in-laws, family members and well-wishers.

The guests proceeded to Mrs. Beauty Amioku’s house for the refreshment.
