A generator, gas cylinders, tyres, a small size 25 by 14 feet caravan loaded with vehicles spare parts were also affected.
According to a source simply identified as Don Felix, one of the apprentices in the workshop, the fire could be traced to a nearby burning bush set up by an unknown person.
“This is not the first time this fire outbreak is happening but it just had not caused damages before now. The last time something Iike this occurred, we were at alert and quick to put it off before it went wild. From our observation, today’s fire creeped in from a nearby burning dirt by someone we are yet to locate”, he said.
Efforts from a large number of persons to put off the fire failed until members of the Delta State fire service, Oleh and the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) fire service, Ogini, came for intervention.
