OGORUGBA CALLS ON THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF COMR. AJIRIOGHENE OTAGBA

The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba has called on the Inspector General of Police for immediate release of Comr. Ajirioghene Otagba (aka MCKingdom)

The Council Boss Ogorugba, expressed displeasure and frown at the arrest of the Isoko’s illustrious son who was agitating for the completion of an abandoned 132KVA Sub-station Electricity project at Ozoro that was awarded to Income Electrix Limited whose Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Chief Matthew Edevbie.

He said, “Every public office holder and contractor handling public projects must be subjected to public scrutiny to ensure full compliance and completion of such projects”

The Council Boss uses this opportunity to call on all contractors who have abandoned projects awarded to them in Isoko Nation to move to sites and ensure that their projects are being completed. Adding that, the Isoko people are becoming aware of abandoned projects that have put the Isoko Nation in a total darkness over the years.

The Council Boss calls on all Isoko Political office holders and Legal practitioners, especially those that are based in Abuja to wade heavily into the matter to ensure that Comr. Ajirioghene is released unconditionally.

He passionately appeals to stakeholders, youth leaders and the good people of Isoko to remain calm to avoid breakdown of law and order.

He emphasized that, as the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Council, he has been fully involved in monitoring and following-up on Otagba’s arrest from Lagos to Abuja, urging all Isoko Youths to be calm, saying that Comr. Otagba will be released soonest.

He reiterated and re-assured the Isoko people especially citizens of Isoko North Local Government that the life of every Isoko North man or woman is very important to him and his administration, adding that, Legal Practitioner of Isoko origin that shows strong interest to secure the unconditional release of Comr. Ajirioghene Otagba may contact him or the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government, Hon. Voke Warri for assistance to ensure that his release must be secured.
