The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Monday 25th of November 2024, laid the foundation of Isoko North administrative complex and commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for graciously approving the project.

Speaking to newsmen Ogorugba said, the purpose of the new administrative complex, a one story building that will contain all the management staff of the council, is for staff efficiency, modern standard of the Council Secretariat Headquarters and future good legacies of the More Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborewvori’s administration.

He noted that the administrative complex will contain all the management staff, the Exco Chamber and Conference hall, media team, Head of Personnel Management and various heads of department of the Council.

The Chairman said, a supplementary budget of the building was formally passed and approved by the legislative arm of the local government, adding that other features of the administrative complex include, visitors waiting room, solar powered system and 200KVA generator to complement 24hours electricity in the Council secretariat.

Ogorugba noted that by January 2025, a perimeter fencing of the Council Secretariat and Chief Security Office gate, are other projects that the administration, will embark on, adding that staff clinic and nurses will be for the good health of staff towards effective efficiency of work.

He emphasized that the duration for the project’s completion will be 6 months, just as the funding will not be a barrier, as the project was approved by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborewvori.

Architect Radiance Isu of Jumpars Construction Company commended Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba for his constant support for the speedy work of the administrative complex, noting that the project will be completed in four months period.
