Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has congratulated Elder Emmanuel Ogidi on his inauguration as Chairman, South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The inauguration which was held on Thursday at the PDP’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja was attended by State Governors, members of the National Assembly, State Party chairmen and other critical stakeholders of the party from the Zone.
The House of Representatives member, Hon. Ukodhiko while rejoicing with Elder Ogidi applauded his choice as the caretaker Chairman considering his impeccable records of party administration as a former Delta State chairman and South-South National Vice Chairman of the party.
Hon. Ukodhiko charged the new caretaker committee chairman and his members to work harmoniously towards reforming and repositioning of the Peoples Democratic Party in South-South Zone.
According to the Isoko Federal lawmaker, “I commend the National Working Committee (NWC) of our Peoples Democratic Party for the right choice of appointing Chief Ogidi, as the chairman, PDP South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee.
“We are confident, Elder Ogidi will work collaboratively with all party leaders, critical stakeholders and members of the PDP in the South-South Zone for the overall interest of the party in the zone.” He added.
Hon. Ukodhiko said, “On behalf of the leaders and people of Isoko Federal Constituency chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, I congratulate our own, a foremost statesman and leader, Elder Emmanuel Ogidi on his successful inauguration as Chairman of the PDP, South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee.
“The PDP remains a great and viable political platform for the actualisation of the aspirations of the people of Niger-Delta region and Nigeria in general. And Elder Ogidi coming in as the caretaker committee chairman, the party will further reinvent itself and dominate the zone.” Ukodhiko stated
